Cookie banners are already the worst part of the web. Paying $35 - $70 or a hefty fee for a monthly subscription for one just adds insult.
That’s why we build LemonCookies. It is a GDPR and ePrivacy consent Bric for Blocs, and it is FREE forever.
It’s not a trial! The banner, the panel, the languages, the colours, the floating icon; Totally FREE.
Real consent: Accept All, Deny All, Personalize. Scrolling does not count.
Looks like your site: eight colour wells, top / middle / bottom, optional title and close cross.
35 languages, auto-detect or locked.
Choice stored on your domain for a year. Visitors can change it anytime.
Runs in the browser only and works on any Blocs website. LemonCookies is built on tarteaucitron.js, the library already used on hundreds of thousands of sites.
If you have been shipping sites without a proper banner because the paid options felt like a tax, this is the one.

Thank you so much!! I really appreciate it! This one will definitely be joining my ever-growing and quite impressive collection of Brics from you. I absolutely love them — thank you again!!
Thanks @Mattheus,
That means a lot. For an ever-growing collection this is the nicest kind of feedback to get.
We try to keep our Brics useful, and there is more on the way . When an idea from real use case is worth it for everyone, we build it in. Adding Ken Burns effects to our Velora Bric is a perfect example of this.
FREE Brics are our thank-you for that: they are not empty placeholders, but tools you can use on every website. LemonCookies is one of them. Cookie banners are a headache, especially in Europe. Sorry about that . At least this one does not add a bill on top.
LemonCookies 1.1.0 is out. Pushed within 24 hours of the first release. Still FREE .
This one is about what loads, and when.
Ten services, one switch each. They only load after the visitor accepts:
Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, Matomo, Meta Pixel, Microsoft Clarity, Hotjar, LinkedIn Insight, Google Ads, HubSpot, Crisp Chat.
Each ID field only shows while its switch is on. Empty IDs are ignored, so the banner never asks for consent to something that cannot run.
YouTube, Vimeo and Google Maps wait now too. Embeds from Video and Maps are replaced with a frosted placeholder before the host is contacted. Colours come from your banner and Accept / Deny wells. No preview image is fetched first!
Safe to update. Every new switch is off by default. A project saved with 1.0 keeps a working banner until you open it and turn the new options on. Matomo and Crisp no longer start before consent. A Video Bric no longer contacts on load.
meine Meinung zu LemonCookies: Das gelbe Logo ist nicht richtig schön! Ihr habt viel Zeit in die Programmierung der Bric verwendet, beim Logo habt ihr gespart.
Thanks for the honest note, and for taking the time to look at it.
The yellow mark is not a logo we sketched at the end. It is the official icon of tarteaucitron.js, the open-source consent library LemonCookies is built on. The name is a French pun: tarte au citron, lemon tart. The lemon slice and the little lock are that mark, already used on hundreds of thousands of sites. We kept it so the reopen button is the one people already recognise.
If it does not suit a project, you do not have to show it. In the Bric sidebar, under Floating Icon, turn Show Floating Icon off. The banner and the panel stay exactly the same.
To keep it 100% in the style of your website visitors can still reopen their choice from a footer link to #tarteaucitron (the Panel # value in Advanced) if you have added this.
