Getting Bloc website to GoDaddy

I am so lost. We built an awesome website on Blocs.
We have a domain and a crappy website already built through godaddy. I want this nice Blocs website to be on my godaddy domain. How do I get it there? Go Daddy said it would be a $199 fee for their implementation team to do it for me or “I would need to know how to do it” which I am trying my hardest to figure out. Please help.

Hi,

GoDaddy is the worst.

Usually, all you need is an active hosting plan, then you could connect it to your domain, and access your hosting account via FTP client (or directly in Blocs).

Do you have a hosting plan with them? I am not sure about their website builder offering, maybe it is something different.

Hi yes I have a hosting plan / FTP. They said everything was set up correctly and something is going on with the Blocs system

I’ve got this far, but i get an error when I try to upload.

These are not correct settings for the FTP access. You need to go to your GoDaddy account and find the details for your FTP account. It is different from your GoDaddy account.

Never have used them, but gosh that sounds like extortion and very weak support to aid in circling back to the extortion price.

Saw this, these screen grabs are from a year ago

But hopefully it helps you gather and input the needed credentials into Blocs iPad FTP.

Are you using a Windows server for hosting or a Linux server for hosting at Go Daddy? In other words, are you using CPanel with Linux?
