Has anyone purchased RichForms and can’t get it to work?

My PHP mail works fine, but when I add the RichForms bric, it fails to send.

I have tried contacting the author, but I’ve had no response and not certain he’s even receiving my message as it fails to send me a copy even though I clicked the checkbox.

Quite ridiculously, I spent several hours trying to figure out how to get it to work and failed miserably.

I wonder if there is a setting on the Project settings that needs checking or unchecking, or if there is a setting I need to set on the web server PHP or some thing.

Any ideas anyone?

Hi @Gemini, after we spoke RichForms is working as advertised. Thank you for your continuous support and watch out for the upcoming update which will allow you to style the warning messages as well!

Yes, many thanks for that Jerry, it appears the issue has something to do with the Clean Page URLs setting and I look forward to the update. :smiley:

So…what exactly was the issue here? Does this work now, are we waiting for an update (from where?) Blocs-Brics, Norm?

There was an issue when using Clean Page URLs, thats being fixed in the update thats forthcoming in a couple days. When I disabled that, it worked fine. The bric was developed by Blocs Brics.

Hi @Gemini , RichForms has just got a major update to V1.1.0. Clean URLs are now detected automagically (No tickbox anymore!) and support for styling the Success and Error messages has been added. As with the form styling, it’s visible live on the canvas. The update should show up in the Blocs extension manager. Alternatively it can be downloaded from Gumroad. Looking for more info about RichForms and this major update visit its dedicated web-page.

Hi,

I’m having a problem with the product. I have added to a test page Contact Us - Test

Tested with mail and SMTP (through SMTP2Go)

The fail message is not one that is set in either the blocs form or RichForms and the form doesn’t get submitted and/or received.

You most likely see the following error:

if so your recipient email address format is incorrect. If its any other issue please contact us on support@blocs-brics.store and provide:

  • Blocs Version
  • Screenshot(s) of Canvas and UI setting(s) involved
  • Screenshot(s) of output
  • project file when possible

I had a problem with it, and this was the cause of the error, thanks!

RichForms just got a major update to V1.1.3,

New:

:pushpin: Users can now define themselves if they wish to receive a copy of their form submission.

Improved:

Hi,

Ive updated but can no longer send (its hosted, not local NAS). Plus the let user decide, reverts back after exiting and re entering the project.

Also broke the home page - rolled back at present
