How to change backgnd color of the "drop down" menu

My site settings have a black background with white text. At this point that includes the navigation text.
I created a drop down menu on one of the menu items to select one of 6 galleries. When I preview this it looks good until I click the drop down. The drop down has an all white background with white text - I suppose 'cause I can’t see it!
Can anyone tell me how I can make the drop down black?

Hi Barry,

Open Class Manager and add a class .dropdown-menu

Then, just open this class and change the background to what you want.
