Thanks a lot!
Hi @brechtryckaert, where’s the new documentation?
It’s right there ![]()
Cheers - I thought that was all about Blocs 3. Thanks.
The original documentation was moved a couple of days ago towards https://blocs3-help.blocsapp.com/, so I kept checking for the new documentation to come online at https://help.blocsapp.com/.
If you click through to “Using Blocs” => “WordPress” for example, you’ll see all new articles concerning the WP integration. Looks mighty good in my humble opinion.
I didn’t scroll down the page to see the new bits -DOH!
As I’m only a part-time web designer, and not being a Wordpress user, this doesn’t mean a lot to me compared to all of the enhancements coming along, but I’m very much looking forward to the upgrade.
Thanks for the info.
I think @Norm will send out another newsletter when the Blocs 4 is officially out today. I don’t think it won’t be possible to upgrade before that.
That is good news. I have cancelled all my appointments this afternoon, so from 13:02H local time here, I can start… let the drums begin…
Wordpress integration is pretty extensive. We will be publishing many new articles over the next week or so. I’ll distribute a 12 page PDF and a free 40 min video course (building a Wordpress theme) plus a few example projects to get everyone started until the online docs are fully fleshed out.
I’ve noticed. Plan on diving in theming today. Thanks for all the great work @Norm. We really can’t say that enough!
Hi @AdieJAM,
You can use Toggle Class feature to create very cool overlay pages, It’s like Modals on steroids.
I have used it on my new BlocsTemplates.com website. Go inside any template page, and click on LIVE DEMO or just click on the thumbnail. It will toggle the class to open the full screen overlay menu. Inside there, there I have put a link to switch between different versions of templates without leaving the same overlay page.
I was going to use the Modals for this, but when I saw this feature, I knew it would be one of many perfect user cases for this.
Cheers,
Eldar
Hey - Thanks @eldar, I will have a good look now.
GREAT website ! I love it !
The crazy thing is - the colours you have used and @Norm has used are the colours I have started using for my personal website!!
Well, these colors pretty much match the color of your hat on your avatar!
haha !!! Yeah ! Purple of all shades are my favourite colour - I have use the Plum colour from apples colours too and moving to this shade of purple too - nice fresh vibrant colours.
