In Blocs5, is there a way to bulk load all images contained in a remote folder, by just referencing the URL of the folder?
That won’t work, because Blocs isn’t able to list the files inside the folder.
Repository Manager Bric (or stack, which you have ) has the option to copy all links to files inside a folder, to paste them in the asset manager for bulk import.
@Jannis Thanks. Clever but an oh so ironic solution. I’ll try that.
Hi Gary,
If you use something like Transmit, you can just select all images inside the folder and copy the URL. It will copy all of them, and you can add all images to Blocs with a one click.
Make sure to enter the correct root URL there. If this isn’t filled out correctly, the URLs might start with sftp://
which cannot be used by Blocs.
Thanks! That’s cool! I usually put all links into some text editor, and ‘replace all’ with the correct address!
That is so cool. Works perfectly and was what I was hoping might be possible, but this could not be easier. Huge thanks.
