@Norm I have purchased image overlay brick and it doesn’t have the option to open the url in a new window. Can you update this please? It’s a primitive feature.

Yeah that’s correct, it’s currently not a feature of that Bric.
I’m hoping to update various custom Brics for Blocs in the coming months, I’ve noted down your feature request.

Is there a way to temporary patch this? placing an “_self” or “_blank” tag inside the url? I tried something like that without success

@Norm if you are updating the image overlay bric again, can you please add the ability to link to downloads as well as URL and Page? i know i could go into my hosting, find the document, get the url that way, but it would be so much easier if we could just link to it directly like we can from anything else.

I would also like the option of having a line of text on the image to start with so I can use them for headers for naming things a bit like Card designer used to have, so I can have a card saying SALE in text and then click on the button on hover !

Not sure if you meant me @Norm ! haha!! but this is what I would love to see.
So you can have text on prior…on hover this text vanishes and card acts like it does now.
Not sure how it will look, but I am sure with a nice transition on time it could look nice. Card designer used to snap into it, but it had also had a hover up.
With card designer now gone - this could be modified to make this work…I hope ! lol

Ah ok, I get it now. You have a much higher chance of this being added as a feature, simply because you used Super Mario / Toy pictures 
Mario and Toys are my Cryptonite!

@Norm you have the same taste in gaming as me!! I knew this would work!!! Or at least give it a chance of being looked at in detail!!
Now card designer has gone - this is a huge game changer if this text before the flip could be added as we can use it to name anything !!! for sales, information, peoples profiles with their name on and hover for the button to click further etc…
Having the button reveal on hover keeps the car looking clean too.

brilliant !!! We have all the original Toy Story figures the whole collection!!! they are all in a cupboard to keep the sunlight off them ! lol - apart from ham as he is a working money box in the office!
Looks like we have the same Mario ! - he lives in our conservatory !

The wife has over 100 Disney figures all over the house and holiday home too !!!

I hope I understood correctly, but yes, it would be nice if you could give it a title text that can be seen on the card at the basic level, and when I move the mouse over it, the rest of the information and transitions will appear.
This would be very useful for me right now.

Although Card designer still seems to work, an overhauled Image Overlay bric could be a good substitute.

Just seeing if this was possibly on your radar for adding text pre-flipping! on image overlay brick? a few times I have found work arounds but would be great to see it on this brick as its really useful.
