Join the Chat NEXT MONDAY!

Hi everyone:

I attended the Blocs Chat yesterday and I wanted to ask, where are you guys?
We have developers there that can answer questions, and just chat about using Blocs.
Next week Bill will be showing us how to switch backgrounds.
Want to see something else? REPLY TO THIS THREAD and I will pass it along.

I see questions and comments up here daily, so I know you are an inquisitive bunch of Bloc-Heads.

Join the CHAT next Monday…maybe YOU can share something you have learned?

Need a question answered? Want to share a blocs story, join the chat.

What time is it in the UK?..I have been working most Mondays - on websites or events or looking after my boys ! but I would love to join in.

Its a huge pity they aren’t recorded like other platforms and can watch back at my own leisure.

I would love them to be recorded.

I will try for next Monday!

Hi Adie:

You know, I have been busy as well with family and other things, so I had a tough time getting this chat into my schedule, but now that I have, I am very happy I did!

Monday’s at 2PM EDT - 1PM CDT here in the USA.

I believe that Bill and the rest of us, would like to understand if that day and time are a problem?

Pete from Blocs Builder was on from New Zealand at 4AM…and it was GREAT having him there!!

So please try to get to at least one and if the time is an issue, bring it up on the chat.

Hey…everyone else reading this…WHERE ARE YOU!!!

Join the CHAT Monday!!! Ask questions, speak with developers, LEARN some tricks (I did this week)!!

7.00pm at least while it remains BST.

BTW, getting some questions:

We use SKYPE to connect. The application is free to download as is the connection to the CHAT.
A forum post Monday Morning will have the link to the next meeting.

Download SKYPE…

I intend to keep this post high up in the forum.
We would love to have you all attend the chat on Mondays!!!

A link to the Skype Chat will be posted on Monday morning.

Any other questions???

Rich the Weather Guy

Thanks, but I had a sleep in, it was 6am here  I was a day ahead though, catch up people :joy:

Either way it was “AM”!!

So happy you were there, was great to chat with you!!
Can you drag your you-know-what out of bed next Monday??

I hope so…

Here in Europe and Switzerland it’s Summer Time and vacations. So why not organize a session in September or later ?
I would be glad to participate if time is convenient for EST.
Thanks.

This is not a one off event. It’s weekly.

Hi SVIMIC:

Summer here in the USA as well, so I have had some conflicts trying to make a Chat.
Try to attend at least one before the summer is over, and then we can expect you will be a regular starting in the fall!
I believe that this chat will continue into September and beyond!! (At least I sure hope it does) which is why we need as many attendees in the beginning to help set direction and express some content suggestions going forward.
What are YOU hoping to get from these sessions? Make your desire known!

Hope to see you there Monday…Look for a Chat link in the forum on Monday.

Rich the Weather Guy

I think I’ll miss this one. May make the following Monday.

The Chat is Tomorrow—August 19…look for links in this forum!!

I missed it, sorry !
Now I can see it is weekly, still the hour isn’t very convenient. It’s dinner time here and if you have a family and children’s, difficult t organize.

I’ll see if I can join one of these Monday and I congratulate you anyway for the initiative.

We had one user attending at 6.00am and another at midnight. It’s not always convenient for everybody.

I’d like to get a list of simple topics that we could discuss in Blocs Chat:
So post your request here, so I don’t have to wrack my brain - it’s all about what you guys are interested in !

Thanks,

Hi Bill:

Table Pro would be one I’d like to see in action. Happens to be yours… :grinning:

Thinking about this…I would like to understand the work flow of people who design websites?
How do you get started, how do you decide what the space will look like, especially when dealing with customers who have no idea.
I’d also like to understand how you decide what features the site will have?
ETC…
I have a curiosity around this topic, so any information is good!

Rich the Weather Guy

Seo in Blocs would be a simple non technical discussion with an exchange of views that could be useful to various users.

Also perhaps something like selecting colour palettes and font choices. These are just general subjects but all important for the final result.
