Eventhough, I am explicitly not selecting jQuery to be exported in the project settings, jQuery is being exported and loaded in the head section of every page.
jQuery is still required if you use a form, I’ll be updating the JqBootstrapValidation script to be vanilla js in the future.
In Blocs 6.11 possibly? 
It would be great to get rid of that unnecessary code.
