Just <nav>

Question: Is it possible to create a clean Navigation?

Instead of this:

<nav class="navbar navbar-light row navbar-expand-md">
					<div class="container-fluid">
						<a class="navbar-brand" href="index.html">Company</a>
						<button id="nav-toggle" type="button" class="ui-navbar-toggler navbar-toggler border-0 p-0 me-md-0 ms-auto" data-bs-toggle="collapse" data-bs-target=".navbar-48693" aria-expanded="false" aria-label="Toggle navigation">
							<span class="navbar-toggler-icon"></span>
						</button>
						<div class="collapse navbar-collapse navbar-48693">
							<ul class="site-navigation nav navbar-nav ms-auto">
								<li class="nav-item">
									<a href="index.html" class="nav-link">Home</a>
								</li>
							</ul>
						</div>
					</div>
				</nav>

To look more like this:

 <nav>
I can add whatever I want
</nav>

Knock yourself out…

haha, so that mean no. :crazy_face:

No, you can… add a Code Widget and make your own.

Of course you will end up with a lot of the same mark-up at the Blocs generated one.

Who actually knows what you mean by ā€œclean navā€???

<nav>
    <div>
    bla bla bla bla bla
    </div>
</nav>

But I was referring like something like the rows and columns without all the classes the navigation creates. Does it make any sense?

All those classes have purpose.

Well…I mean…you still need to ā€˜list’ your links and possibly add a logo. The list and logo will need classes. Also, need a class for the navbar itself to match your design (sticky class optional). Probably need it to be responsive too……you’ll kinda end up with the same result after 5 minutes of unnecessary coding.

I’m not really sure what a Clean Nav means.

He wants a magic one, with no classes :grin:

Yeah, in the perfect need nothing world of Blocs LOL

Guys, I speak to many languages so I get confused sometimes… not cool (dumb) to make fun when most of you are a monolingual hehe.

Anyway I just want to make a siderbar menu with the ability to hide in command, and those have special classes.

I only speak one and struggle with that half the time :rofl:

Is that because you are from :new_zealand: ?

We have two official languages here in New Zealand (three actually with NZ Sign language). English and Maori. A lot of our place names are in Maori, but My Maori is very limited. I find I am pretty bad at repeating languages that are tonal.

I don’t know how to interpret that Pete, sounds like Frodo Baggins with web development skills :grinning:

I think I’m the only Kiwi here? There maybe one or two Aussies, but they just want to be kiwis. :joy:

Hey @Stewie_Griffin - don’t take things personally, members here are amazingly helpful and a little light hearted fun makes it so much more interesting.

You come across as a seasoned coder. I really regret not having learn’t coding when I was in high school even though computer science was one of my favorite subjects. The beauty with Blocs is that it has triggered an interest for me to learn.

Pretty sure he’s fine. He’s been around here longer than me I think. (Not that I have been here long, a couple of years)

I’m probably the most green friendly Blocs user on the bloc </ :evergreen_tree: :palm_tree: :sunflower: :hibiscus: :four_leaf_clover: > :rofl:

Actually I’m Spanish :es: But live in France :smiley:
