My true solid 24 hours with Blocs since registering it. Really like the top and bottom section for all pages, that saves time and allows quick changes and tweaks. Classes drove me crazy at first, different settings at different breakpoints, jumping between breakpoints and not seeing the change, but got the pattern of how it works for different breakpoints, now I’m loving them. Loving the way I can set a class with all different settings for breakpoints in to one class instead of a bundle of different classes for different functions. And I like that I can work purely in REM font sizing for accessibility reasons and have all different REM sizing for font size, character spacing and line spacing for all the different breakpoints in just one class and not need a bundle of different classes for different breakpoints and can change sitewide with the class.
Just thought I’d send in a bit of positive feedback. No doubt something will drive me crazy and I’ll be asking for help soon
Great to hear you’re enjoying Blocs! It sounds like you’ve really mastered the breakpoint settings and found a streamlined approach for accessibility with REM sizing.
The classes at different breakpoints really did drive me crazy at first All good now. Found how I can add custom CSS also for things such as angled text, that’s been great, I can then add a class to the custom CSS to retain all the styling to the angled text. Trying to work out now how to add an animated SVG to a background and have styled text as just an outline with no fill, I will get there, but the way to add custom CSS has really been a bonus, being able to add it to whole project or just page has been a real nifty feature.
