MacOS Tahoe 26 Public Beta

Later today or possibly this week, I’m expecting the public beta of MacOS Tahoe to be released.

This is just a quick heads up to inform all users that there are graphical issues with preview mode and in a few other areas across the application when running Blocs on this new version of MacOS.

So I would advise not to install it, if you need to use Blocs for time critical work.

I will begin preparing Blocs for this exciting new version of MacOS over the coming weeks and hope to release the first beta of Blocs 6.2.3 in early August, which will include the first wave of fixes and improvements for MacOS Tahoe.

If you do install this new version of MacOS, please feel free to post your issues in this thread if you use Blocs with it.

Can you please say what these areas are so I can test?
I haven’t found Any.

Maybe something cosmetic like a missing ‘x’ button in the class name.

I think I found one:
Blocs start menu shows no recent files.
But that seem to go for other Apps too.

Works fine for me here.

Hmm
Tahoe beta3?

Update:
Just tested it. no luck.

Yes, it worked on beta 1, 2, and now on 3

I tested it with another user and it works.
So there must be something wrong with my OS settings.
Even Apps e.g. Numbers don’t show recent files.
Any ideas somebody?

OK found the reason.
I’ve set the settings in the menubar for “Recent Items” to NONE.
That’s was causing it.
