Move ftp accounts to another Mac or locked in keychain

Is it possible to move ftp account entries or are they locked in the keychain?

I don’t actually use Blocs for FTP transfers and right now I’m working on a single computer. My guess is that the accounts would transfer as long as the other computer used the same iCloud account or you might need to copy over a specific folder from the old Mac.

I use Forklift for this purpose that allows you to save bookmarks in Dropbox, then synch them to other computers. My hope is that they will enable this through iCloud before long. It looks like a new version will be released fairly soon.

After trying all the best known FTP apps, I ended up staying with ForkLift 3.

I do not use keychain. I never set it up. Yet when use Transit FTP and go to one of my FTP site it always ask me for the keychain password. LOL There isn’t one. I keep having to click ‘cancel’ several times. Finally, I get to enter my login information.

I keep everything in my 1Password account. Worth trying. Other password manager will do fine too. Wouldn’t know what to do without one.

Yep Forklift and 1Password are great!
