Hi All,

Just updated Page Lock to v1.0.1 - I changed the update url so I manually sent out updates to my customers - if you didnā€™t get the download let me know.

Just wondering out loud - I know there must be thousands of blocs users by now, right? - sure would be nice to get some spooky Halloween :bat: SALES :jack_o_lantern: to make my day :wink:

You know Bill, I am examining how I might use your Bric in a future update for my own site. You have also given the web site creators among us the opportunity to demonstrate to their customers that this option now exists for their sites.
Patience is a virtue for sure.
I expect I will be purchasing it and I am sure other Blocs users are probably doing the same evaluationā€¦

Hi, I saw the video for PageLock but one simple use I need is not clearly mentioned:

The need to password protect a page WITHOUT user. Just a generic password with a modal popup at page load which would allow to enter the password.

Is that possible ?

Iā€™ve seen the .htaccess/.htpassword trick which seems to require also a user/pass combination.
Security is not the challenge. Just that everybody cannot access the page.

Hi @svimic

I do believe this is as you have mentioned is for both user and password, I have yet to find anything with just the one at all in Blocs, but I have done lots this year and when my client has asked for just the one login, I say it must be 2 and just create a very basic user name like : enter

If you do manage to work @Bills bric into doing just the one - please post back as this is of interest to me.

I am yet to buy the bric - but 100% will when I need to do a simple page lock out, its next bric on my list to buy and support as it looks great.

Just wanted everyone to know Page Lock v1.0.2 has just been released.

It may work in Blocs 4, but there might be some tag mismatches, so I recommend you use it in Blocs 5 from now on. Thanks.

I just updated Page Lock again this week: Pg Admin: v1.0.5, Pg Login v1.0.5, Pg User: v1.0.3

  • Fixed page permission for users when logged in
  • Fixed icons not publishing when exported

Hi All,

Just wanted to let everyone know that all the Page Lock brics have been updated to v1.0.6  This is a Huge update and you will need to reset the brics to the new version (Write down any changes you made to your existing bric settings before doing anything) To reset: right-click on each bric and choose ā€˜update allā€™
This version will be for Blocs 5.2+ only

Admin:

  • Updated cleanup function to use php snippet from Blocs 5.2+
  • Updated user interface in edit mode
  • Updated support of toggle visibility of login/out button on different pages
  • Added version number in edit mode

User:

  • Updated user interface in edit mode
  • Added version number in edit mode
  • Added striped handle at bottom to allow selection of user bric in edit mode

Login:

  • Updated input labels to show changes in edit mode
  • Updated image handling so only one copy of included images published
  • Added version number in edit mode

Just wanted to let everyone know Page Lock Admin/Login/User have been updated to v1.0.7 Another huge update with bug patches for Blocs 5.2.5+, improved path handling for cancel pages, updated some styling and added accessibility support.

Admin:

  • Fixed bug in php var path that prevented setup
  • Added accessibility support
  • Added highlight tab color control for login/out button
  • Added cancel page control for use with ā€˜login to other protected pageā€™

Login:

  • Updated edit view of buttons to inherit more of the color settings
  • Added accessibility support
  • Added highlight tab color control for user & password inputs
  • Added tab highlight color support for login & cancel buttons

User:

  • Added accessibility support

Page Lock Admin/Login/User have been updated to v1.0.8 Another solid update with bug patches for Blocs 5.2.5+, improved file handling for cancel pages & logout, updated some styling and updated the cleanup script.

Admin:
ā€¢ Added support for .html suffix for cancel page
ā€¢ Clicking logout button now redirects to cancel page
ā€¢ Updated loginout button tabbing highlight color
ā€¢ Updated cleanup to remove multiple instances of the same page from page setup list

Login:
