How to update?

Updating is opt-in, you can log in to your gumroad account and download OH2 at any time. You will still have access to Offcanvas Helper v1.1.2. OH2 will replace OH1 in Blocs when installed.

Just a small question:
I now have double off canvas menu’s. Does it matter which one I delete?

They are the same, the only difference is one set will be assigned a Library name called Building Blocs.

So you can go ahead and delete any of them really. New options in custom blocs :grin:

The offcanvas helper bric says: “no offcanvas set”.
What does that mean?
After migrating old projects to version 2.0 nothing works anymore.
And - yes - I followed the migrating advice in pete’s video.

Check the beginning part of the other video Bootsie. There are some changes mainly due to multi offcanvas.

I have been waiting for this to begin some new projects.
Wonderful to see it in action and thank you SO MUCH for the detailed EXCELLENT tutorial video.
I wish all developers would provide a walk through as you have. It would make things so much easier for us non-coders, and perhaps, lessen the number of e-mail questions I am sure you don’t have the time to answer.
Perhaps that will free you up to create more GREAT NEW BRICS for BLOCS!!! :+1: :tada: :smile:

Hi Pete:

After downloading and installing OC2, I have these in my Extension Manager.
Since I have not used OC1 anywhere, what can I delete from this list that is only associated with OC2?
Any reason to keep OC1 in there?

I don’t think there’s any point in keeping version 1 as you have version 2.

Looks like you installed the Offcanvas Blocs twice. You only need one of each bloc. Although I’m not sure how that’s even possible :man_shrugging:, You can delete the ones I marked below.

Hello

I have a trouble with Offcanvas Helper :frowning:

so I did projects on blocs 5 with Offcanvas installed: no problem

i installed blocs 6 and opened up those projects done on blocs 5 (with Offcanvas Helper)

Blocs said that it is not installed and I need to go to the store

ok fine I close the project and I go manually to GUMROAD and download the last version of the zip Offcanvas

blocs not opened on any project,
I click on the x4 .bex of the Offcanvas from the zip
everything is installed EXCLUDING Offcanvas Helper which says “already installed”

which is very very strange
but I click on yes
and… CRASH

meaning I cannot install Offcanvas on blocs 6.0.6

sorry for the trouble
I leave it here if someone has same problem

went to EXTENSION MANAGER
right click on the offcanvas helper >>> show in finder… (nothing)
then right click on the off canvas helper and delete
reinstall
then opening the project with troubles and BOOM it is here

Hmmmm…
After reading this I went into my extension mgr and see all of the off canvas brics are installed.
They show in the extension Mgr, but when you try to use the Bric, it doesn’t appear in the insert window? Only OC Linker?

From there you CAN use the OF Helper bric, but there is something wrong?
