Newest site built with Blocs

Just wrapped up another website, and I’ve got to say—this one turned out great. HUGE shoutout to Eldar. With my current skill level in Blocs, there’s no way I could’ve built something this polished without his Minimalist Library. Total lifesaver. @Eldar

That’s a great website, Arlen! Well done! Happy to see you are taking advantage of the Minimalist Library! :muscle:

P.S. I am not a big fan of preloader, because it appears inside a white box on the grayish background. Maybe try uploading the custom preloaded or change the color of the background (with preloader) using the CSS Effects. This way it will not look like that!

Also, check the FAQ page, there is some overlapping issue there.

Thanks for the feedback, I disabled the preloader becuase there is no good reason for it to be there. I republished the site and now there are two images on my home page horizontal slider that are tiny and I can’t get them back to normal size. They look fine in the blocs app in both edit and preview.

It looks like these two images are being added inside a ‘picture’ element for some reason. In any case, what I suggest is selecting the image before that (which is displayed without a problem on the site), duplicating it two times, and replacing the images with the two from the problematic ones. Then, just get rid of the small images.

This is strange, I did that but it puts in back into the picture element when I publish.

I cleared my server cache.

“So I got it displaying correctly again, but I had to change images completely. The only thing that was different about the 2 images that didn’t display correctly was that they were JPG images, and everything else was WebP. Once I changed the images out for 2 WebP images**,** it displayed correctly.”

I really like the clean look of the site. If I might offer one suggestion/ observation. The phrase ‘Wedding Venue’ is used twice, immediately after each other; once in the over strap line and again in the main header text. Because of the proximity of each sentence, it reads as far too repetitive; in my opinion. I would consider dropping the phrase from one of them.
