I want to put a pdf file on my site that can be downloaded. Is there a way to keep track ho many times this pdf is downloaded?

I would use some kind of site analytics. (I use self hosted Plausible Analytics, but there are many options, I chose one where I don’t require cookies and GDPR banners and such.)

Was it easy to self host?
I use the docker images, it’s like 4 or 5 images in a docker compose file. I run it for 30 domains or so, so it does require some hard drive space after a while …
