Premium templates missing Content assets & fonts?

Hi…

New to Blocs, (having come from Rapidweaver)… so purchased the premium bundle of templates. I had figured they’d work off the bat, but every time I load a premium template, it’s missing a significant number of project assets & fonts - even in a blank project?? There’s no cloud icon available to download them, & only the magnifying glass search function for assets, (but where to look)? Surely it’s not necessary to link Google fonts for templates?

I’m also experiencing a lot of crashes (V 6.0.10 / Mac OS 15.3 / Apple Silicon, M2).

At this rate, I’ll be asking for a refund…

Hi @Kre-8,

Welcome to the Blocs community. I am really sorry to hear you are having trouble and I understand your fustration. We of course would like to help with the issues you are encountering. Could I check that the crashes have been reported here.

With regard to the templates, did you purchase these from the Blocs Store? If so, it may be worth reaching out to the developer directly via their store front, they are always great in helping if needed.

Feel free to DM me should you need any further help.

Many thanks!

Many thanks Helen…

I’ve submitted a support ticket, but in case it helps anyone else, I’ve tried the following (to no avail) :

• Checking Permissions (Blocs has access to Documents, Downloads & Network volumes).
• Deleting Blocs Prefs - both V5 & V6 (Blocs 6 prefs are now only present)
• Reauthorising Blocs (Signing out & back in)
• Re-installing Templates (which seemed to work briefly but only for a few templates)
• Multiple Shut-Downs / Restarts
• Bypassing Malwarebytes - as recommended in one thread (no difference)

Hoping for a timely resolution

Kind rgds

Is it possible the Montserat fonts are corrupt and possibly causing the crashes. I would delete all of that font on the computer reboot and reinstall the fonts as see if that has a fix. I am running many fonts and third party templates and the minimalist library not having any crashes here. iMac 27 running Sequoia os through Opencore patcher runs great with no problems. It may be possible you have an extension loading causing this crash try running a basic os with minimal 3 party extensions as see if this is the problem or look in the crash file of Blocs and see where the crash occurs

I too moved across from Years in Rapidweave Blocs is great and can handle very large or small sites and I am now faster in Blocs than I was in Rapidweave with foundry 3 which was fantastic.

Cheers
