Google says that the average browser window size is 1366 x 784. And also 1920 x 1080.
(I’m not sure I believe those dimensions as they seem very letterboxy, at 1.75:1 certainly compared to what I use on my iMac and MacBook Air, which are much closer to square at around 1.1:1.)
So my question is, how can I size browser previews to these dimensions on a 5120 × 2880 screen? I can see no controls for this in any browser.
I’ve got Solis but I’d prefer an actual browser window if possible…
All browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, etc.,) have responsive simulation tools (within their Dev Tools) for perceived viewing of sites on different devices, aspect ratios, custom settings etc. You can also script the browser window itself to resize to specific dimensions. If you’re not able to do that most browsers also have extensions developed by others available.
I’ll let you Google those things since you will no doubt deem things unhelpful as you have already done for each response which is an interesting approach to seeking help from others.
By the way how is your Lock Orientation coming was all that also not helpful?
Not very elegant but sorted @PeteSharp - I did a screen grabs of the required sizes and display them ‘actual size’, the size the browser test windows over them. As I say, not elegant, so they have their own Spaces on my 5120 × 2880 screen.
