In my opinion, this story in the FT is the future of news presentation.
Could Blocs make it? I can’t see why not but the others on the forum are more proficient than I am.

It’s called “Scrollytelling” (scroll+storytelling), by intermingling scrolling with animated interactive storytelling, providing an engaging user experience. Its been around since 2010-2012.
GSAP is a prime candidate for scrolling, animation, drawing, morphing, animating data visualizations, 3D, videos, etc., but you would need to write custom logic via code.
Of course you can use many other approaches also, even a vanilla approach and no libraries. It can be as simple or as immersive as needed depending on what message you’re trying to convey.
“Custom Interactions” (Interaction Manager) is maybe a place to begin, etc., ?
