Trying to replicate an existing site with Blocs

I am still relatively new to using Blocs and I have a client that has asked me to replicate a site similar to this one: https://arroyoep.com. It is a relatively simple site with very little content, but since I’ve never built a site with Blocs yet (coming from Dreamweaver), I was just wondering how close I could mimic some of these features?

• Having a homepage photographic background with a logo and menu appearing on top of it like in the example

• On the ABOUT page having the names clickable to where they reveal more information about each person?

• Incorporating a contact form similar to what they’re using?

I just thought I would ask before I jump into this project?

With Blocs, you won’t have any problems. The site is actually relatively simple, and you can replicate everything I see on the current URL

As @Michelangelo said, you can make this easily in Blocs.

  1. Use a hero Bloc in the dynamic area ( also turn off the top global area on your homepage, use it for your nav on all other pages.).

  2. Lots of ways to do this in Blocs, easiest is with toggle visibility, but if you want to go a little further create some Custom Interactions.

  3. The phone number input field on the form has some formatting running on it, Blocs doesn’t support this, however, a little additional JS added as a page attachment would likely fix that up.

I hope that helps.

To be fair @Choreo - Blocs won’t just replicate this, but in fact enhance it.

There are several ways to tackle the look and what your are looking for. I personally would offer the way Blocs can do it and show your client and as @Norm has said there are lots of ways to do things in Blocs.

I used to get stuck in trying to copy other builders ways as clients saw something they liked from another builder - and when I showed them the way Blocs can do it - they loved it !!!

The site you want to replicate is very easy….but play with other designs, using the image and text and see what they think.

Either way - good luck !

 In some cases, real-world experiences are needed to verify this, and I have had the opportunity to do so and can confirm it. Not he same, just better
