Hi All:
Just checking if anyone who has upgraded their Mac OS to Tahoe (Version 26.3) has had ANY issues using Blocs 6.3?
I am considering an update, but obviously, I want zero issues with Blocs.
Thank you to all who answer.

everything run smoothly
Mostly ok but have run in to the out of memory issue a few times on 26.1 and 26.2. Could be due to multiple users logged in but not had this error before on previous macOS versions. Running a Mac mini M2 16GB with 3 users ok but with a 4th it would some times hit this issue. Hopefully 26.3 will be better with memory management.
Also had recent issue with no keyboard or keyboard input being recognised. Unable to determine if it was an OS issue/corruption or third party (Logitech) keyboard software. Bit of a nightmare to fix and had to resort to a fresh install and only migrating user files and reinstalling apps as needed. I suppose it’s a good opportunity to have a bit of a clear out after 20 odd years of Mac usage and several hardware migrations.
Thanks for the detailed list of issues.
I am a single user on an M4 Mac Mini with 24 GB of memory.
I am guessing I won’t see some of the issues you have had to deal with…..I hope!
Hope your issues get resolved….
Thank you

Hey folks,
Those who have updated to Tahoe on a M1 Mac have you had any issues of slow performance, stuttering with Tahoe?
My M1 Max is still on Sequoia and I’m not to keen on losing performance to eye candy.
Thoughts would be appreciated.
Zero issues with Tahoe on my M1 Pro MBP. Delayed upgrading a bit and this is both under 26.2 and now 26.3.
EDITED
P.S. Actually remembered one issue. Doing a Get Info in the Finder can be laggy bringing up the window by about 3-6 seconds. It always comes up but is less than snappy.
Thanks very much.
hello @WeatherguyNH
On my Mac, my M4 works well with blocsapp, but on my laptop, Intel has issues with Tahoe
Thanks Anas.
I have an M2 MacBook Air as well as the M4 mini, so I guess we’ll see how it works on that. Based on feedback above, I should be fine.

Based on my research thus far, I really have not found anyone that suggested there was a performance hit moving to Tahoe.

I had performance issues. It’s a little better now, but not as fluently as before. I have a 2021 MacBook Pro 15“
I guess I should qualify my statement.
I have not found anyone who is on an “M” series Mac having a performance issue.

M1 Max e M4 Pro, latest Tahoe, Blocs is ok ![]()
Thanks everyone.
I was more concerned about MacOS overall performance then Blocs specifically.
I think I’ll hold off for one more update from Apple before I move to Tahoe. My M1 64GB Max is absolutely rock solid and very fast and I don’t want to risk losing any performance for the sake of some Tahoe chrome.
your processor (I have it too) performs best under heavy loads and that’s not the case with Blocs, in fact, the M4 series flies. Now on M4pro I miss M1 Max (32core) performances only for heavy video exports and RAW denoise/export, for the rest there is no problem
My main computer is an M4 Mac Mini. “Flies” is a great description!
I would say most everything flies on the mini I purchased about 6 months ago.
