Why does Blocs add jQuery?

… thought jQuery got dropped with Bootstrap 5, yet I see it added. Why is that?

If you use e.g. a custom bric, which requires jQuery, the reference is automatically added.

that I would understand, but I don’t use any custom brics on the page. Just those that come with Blocs. At least I don’t remember adding any other than the standard blocs and brics.

Use the Project Overview and find out which Brics are in use.

Also do you have ‘include JQuery’ ticked in your export settings?

@Norm Does any of these Brics use jQuery?

I do use the Inline SVG and Line Divider Bric. I am NOT using the Follow Links bric. Not sure why it’s even there in the first place. I might have once tried it, but deleted it from the project. The bric is nowhere present in the project.
