But didn’t that ruins the image when you reduce the width of the browser window?
yes! but it didn’t affected the navbar! tired to play around to see if I could get something but it didn’t work
Then maybe one of the more experienced and code savvy users might want to chime in and help. I’m at the end of my limited css knowledge
I hope! I will have a look online and if I find something interesting I will post it here swell
Hi @Stewie_Griffin, I have the same need. Did you manage to resolve the problem? Please share.
If any other fellow member know how to zoom out the image in a hero bloc without the nav-bar or overlaid text getting effected, please assist. I need to apply the effect to certain pages only as my landing page has a hero bloc with a background video.
You are asking 2 different things here, a video background and an image background are created differently, and the solution is different.
Hi Pete, hope you’re well, really good to hear from you. Sorry, let me clarify.
So my landing page has a hero bloc with a video in it and that is working fine as it is and so I don’t want that changed in any way.
However, all other linked pages have a hero bloc with a static image in it - this is where I need the subtle zoom out effect on the image only, it should not effect the embedded nav bar or overlaid text.
Any solutions?
Yes. I’ve just been busy with other things.
I will make a video on this one. But I am working late tonight, so probably not today.
Thanks Pete, you are like the digital version of a life saver that sits on a high platform keeping watch across the beach front, wearing one of those ‘Hello World’ T-shirts
Update: Video is up
