This version has been pretty stable in testing, so you should be ok.

The release notes page also contains all of the older versions of Blocs 6 for download, if you do update and run into a show stopper.

Huge list of changes. Looking forward to trying everything out. But so far the panels are still acting crazy (hiding and refusing to reappear unless the app is relaunched).

Thank you, we all work really hard on getting these out the door.

Which panels are you having issues with and are you using an external display with your Mac?

Hi Norm and everyone,

I hope you’re all doing well.

I just wanted to share an issue I’ve encountered after updating to Blocs 6.3.

I really enjoy using Blocs and have recently started using it much more actively in my client projects — especially for building WordPress-based websites.

However, after the 6.3 update, Blocs immediately quits whenever I press the Preview (Play) button, but only on my WordPress projects. Regular HTML projects work without any problems.

The crash report points to:

-[NSConstantArray objectAtIndexedSubscript:]: index 17 beyond bounds [0 .. 16]

Since I’m currently in the middle of a time-sensitive client project, this situation caught me a bit off guard.

Just letting you know that I’ve also opened a support ticket with the full crash log so that the team can take a closer look.

If anyone else is experiencing something similar, or if there is a temporary workaround, I would really appreciate any advice.

Thanks a lot!

Best regards,

Yusuf

Hey @yusuf thanks for the heads up and sorry for the bumpy start.

You can easily move back to the previous version from the release notes page mentioned in this thread.

I’ll follow up on your ticket tomorrow. We will get this patched up this week when we release the first beta of 6.3.1 beta 1.

Thanks a lot, Norm. Really appreciate your quick response.

I’ll roll back to the previous version for now and continue the project from there.

Great to hear that a fix is already on the way and looking forward to the 6.3.1 beta.

By the way, I’ve been following the forum quietly for a while, mostly as a reader.

This issue finally pushed me to join in and participate. Happy to be here and glad to contribute as well.

Thanks again for the support!

It would be great if you can send me a copy of your problematic project as well. Either via a private DM here on the forum or as a support ticket.

Welcome to the forum, great to have you here!

Thanks, Norm!

I’ve sent over a minimal WordPress test project via a support ticket so you can check the issue.

Really loving the new features in 6.3, especially the WordPress improvements.

I’m very interested in the WordPress workflow in Blocs, and it’s exciting to see how quickly it’s evolving.

I had tested the earlier beta versions as well and everything worked great on my end.

I simply didn’t get the chance to test the latest beta before the release.

And thank you, Helen. Happy to be part of the community!

The preview does not work in any of the WP projects that I tried. Good catch @yusuf, I’ve been working on a different type of project and I hadn’t use the preview for quite a while.

For me, Blocs 6.3, doesn’t quit or crash, the preview never shows.

When I tried with Blocs 6.3 beta 4, it crashes.

Thank you Norm for all the great updates, I’m currently using many of the new features with no problems.

Some really fantastic features in there, Norm. I noticed the new Search right away! Fantastic!

Could be that I have forgotten, but did something change in this new version, such that all non-breaking spaces are now showing the CODE rather than just a space? See screenshot below…

UPDATE: I am now 100% certain this is new to Blocs 6.3. I am seeing   across most of my web pages now…

It does not appear in PREVIEW. It only appears in the normal design view of Blocs. But as I said, it the “code” did not appear in earlier versions of Blocs.

I just reported this as a bug.

Hey @yusuf and @Ricardo,

I have fixed up the Wordpress preview issue and released a new build of Blocs 6.3 (build 35) that includes the fix. Just run the in-app update again and your preview mode should play nice now.

Looks great!! One small (perhaps silly) question: where can I find the Adapt image button in Asset manager. I do have the generate image (playground option)…
