Import existing html web page

Can I import an existing web page that I created several years ago using html?

Hi @LesB,

No. Blocs doesn’t offer a way to directly open and work with existing pages or sites, like other apps such as Pinegrow do.

The Blocs Plus version does offer an Extractor, for extracting typography, images and color from a live website for use in re-designing. Though like many Blocs features across recent versions its not outlined in the documentation.

There was this previous thread also.

If you have particular stuff in the page you wish to retain, could you put the bits into a code bloc?

Thanks for the info.

Wouldn’t that be a cool feature to have blocs import an entire website (html, CSS and JS) and convert it to Blocs. I don’t think this is high on the list on request. Even if one page (html and CSS) would be a great feature.

The source website would have to be written in Bootstrap to have a minimal chance to do this. At the end very unlikely.

hi
2015, i made a website with muse and its still online and works fine.
can i import all “html + css data & images”?

as the feature list shows “blocs plus: import html”

thanks

Hi @muser,

No, you will not be able to import your Adobe Muse HTML & CSS. You will need to instead rebuild your site if you wish to move forward with Blocs as a replacement. Of course if you heavily used Muse add-ons you may have to forgo certain existing features or rethink them also.

Can you post a link where you saw this?

all right, never mind.
i saw in pricing blocs plus" import content from websites"
but there is no html
