WooCommerce for Blocs

I asked this 4 years ago and trying again. All the responses were about Wordpress. lol

WooCommerce is for Wordpress. I don’t like Wordpress, but I like the idea of selling my merch directly from my website rather than Etsy.

Is there a platform out there that you are using to sell items directly from your website without using Wordpress?

Thanks

Bill

I have Ecwid on a client WordPress site that works well, but you should be able to use it in Blocs as well. It’s worth a look.

That thread was about Wordpress, which seemed to be what you wanted back then. :slightly_smiling_face:

Blocs 4.1.0 - Feb 10th 2021 - Add Ecommerce interactions (Stripe, Ecwid, Gumroad, Paddle, Snipcart). Sell online with payment integrations from the leading e-commerce providers.

^ Less than 4 yers ago, Blocs added E-commerce interactions, if you want to create the type of store on your site that can utilize such gateways and buying methods ?

You can also add virtually any other E-commerce solutions within Blocs via the HTML Bric , Div Bric , Page Settings + Add Code for CSS & JS resources, etc. Based upon the setup and usage instructions provided by whatever 3rd party libraries and payment gateways you desire to use.

You can use Blocs in combination with Stripe payments: it works great.
The main stumbling block is getting familiar with Stripe, because on Blocs you just enter the cryptographic keys in the site settings and you’re done.

I set up my shop with a mixture of Stripe and a DIY shopping cart (which I’m not going to explain because it takes ad hoc code), but you can see Stripe in action on that part titled “Combinazioni” (Combinations), here:

It’s really simple to implement, when you learn a bit of Stripe options.
